Is there a minimum order?

Minimum billing is $15.00.

What is the normal production time?

Most orders can be shipped within 48-72 hours.

Is custom signage available?

Everything we do is custom. The size, the color, the copy, format, font, materials, and logos.

Can my order be shipped today?

It depends on the order. To confirm please call 718-385-1600 extension 117.

What are normal shipping prices?

UPS ground is usually $9, other shipping services are available. Please specify if you have a preference or we will use our best discretion.

How long have you been in business?

We have been in business since 1977.

Are there any special setup fees that I will be charged?

Standard type styles have no additional setup charge. Custom logos will have a $60.00 setup charge (1 TIME CHARGE).

Can I email you a file for my signs?

Yes, there is no service charge for converting & setting up your file on our system. If any additional information is required, we will contact you before proceeding. We can accept your file via e-mail for your signs. send e-mail to sales@cab-signs.com See next question for formats used.

What format can you accept my file in?

Graphics files that are usable, Casmate (*.SCV), Signlab (*.CDL), Flexisign (*.FS), CorelDraw (*.CDR), Encapsulated Postscript (*.EPS), Adobe Illustrator (*.AI), *.DXF and *.PLT

please ensure that all files have fonts or text converted to curves or outlines so that we can use them even if the fonts are not available, in other words, the file is treated as artwork rather than text. Also, the files must be in vector format (lines) not raster format (dots). Common raster formats are .jpg, .tif, .bmp and .gif which are generally useless.

What materials are available?

We have over 50 standard colors available for indoor/outdoor engraved signs. Metal engraving is available in Brass and Aluminum. Plexiglas, Sintra, Banners, and Coroplast are also available for signage with vinyl letters.

What marking processes are available?

We do Computer Engraving, Laser Engraving, Silk Screening, Photopolymer, Vinyl lettering, Sublimation, UV Printing, and Routing.

How can I mount my sign?

The most popular option is double-sided tape. Drilled holes can be done (There is no additional charge for either tape or holes). Also available for a small up charge is Velcro, Magnetic tape, chain, or suction cups.

Can I supply Camera-Ready artwork?

Yes, black and white camera-ready artwork up to size 8.5″x11″ can be used. There will generally be a $60.00 setup charge. (1 TIME)

Can I get a proof of my sign?

Yes, you can get a scaled down proof faxed or emailed to you for a $5.00 fee. This must be signed and faxed back for us to proceed.

What do I need to place an order?

WE NEED TO KNOW:

A) Type of sign (Example Engraving, Silkscreening, Vinyl, etc.)
B) Exact size of sign
C) The material the sign is to be made from
D) The color of the sign
E) The exact copy of the sign
F) Any mounting instructions
